During the Long Way Up, Ewan and Charley stopped off at a Unicef-supported community centre in Choloma, Honduras to see the work they are doing to prevent children and young people from joining gangs.

Cool Earth is a nonprofit organisation who work with rainforest communities to halt deforestation and its impact on climate change by putting local indigenous people back in control of their homelands.

Ewan and Charley visited a refugee camp at the Peru/Ecuador border so see what Unicef is doing to help. The pair met families who had been driven out of their homes by the crisis in Venezuela to seek safety and security in Peru and beyond.

Ewan and Charley spent some time at the Challamayu School, an indigenous Quechuan School in the agricultural community of Challamayu to see how Unicef is helping indigenous communities access education in their mother tongues.
